YOGA

No matter the reason brings you to Yoga, it's a good reason. Yoga is for everyone.

 

Each person comes to it for different reasons because its benefits are numerous : to gain strength, to

improve flexibility, improve blood circulation, relieve pains, improve breathing, reduce stress, improve sleep, stimulate immunity, increase energy, improve concentration, promote inner peace, imrove self consciousness...

​Yoga isn't reduced to physical exercices. It is one of the 6 systems of indian philosophy. It takes into account every aspects of the human life, including our relationships with others, our behaviours, our health, our breath and our path to meditation. Yoga has been included in the list of the world intangible cultural heritage.

​It's goal is the liberation from suffering and liberation of one's being. It uses the body to purify oneself, to build self-knowledge – starting with what we can see- and progressing to what we can't see, our breath and the movement of our mind.

B.K.S. Iyengar said « Body is the bow, Asana is the arrow, and the soul is the target. » The goal of Yoga is to create space where you are stuck, to unveil the layers of protection you built around your heart, to appreciate your body, to become aware of your mind and of the noise it creates, to make peace with who you are. The goal is to love... well, yourself. Come on your mat to feel and not to accomplish. Change your state of mind and your heart will grow.
