In sanskrit, Ayu means life and Veda means knowledge or science. So Ayurveda means science of life, it's the science and art of living. It is one of the most ancien systems of medicine in the world which indian roots back over 5000 years into the Vedic era.

Knowledge has been compiled in several books, the principal one being Charaka Samhita. It describes not only the knowledge of all the aspects of medicine but also logic and philosophy supporting the medical system. Ayurveda includes 8 limbs: internal medecine, chirurgy, ophtalmology and dental chirurgy, pediatrics, toxicology, psychiatry, science of rejuvenation, science of fertility.

Ayurveda aims at the prevention of diseases, promotion of health, longevity of life and the cure of diseases. And also to relieve humanity from all sorts of miseries : physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

The principles of Ayurveda are based on the universal law of nature. As per Ayurveda human is a miniature replica of the universe and constituents of universe and human are the same. The continuum macrocosm-microcosm, the interaction and exchange between the Universe and the individual continue in a natural way. The sun, the air and the water are considered as fundamental guiding principles of all ecosystems on Earth. Like nature, the human body is governed by  3 forces called Doshas. Balanced Doshas brind health and happiness whereas unbalanced Doshas bring physical and mental illness, aging and death.

"Samadosha samaagnishcha samadhathu malakriya

Prasannatma indriya manaha swastha ityabhi dhiyate"

The individual is in good health when all Doshas, Dhatus (7 tissus), Agni (13 metabolic forces), Mala (metabolic wastes) and well-being (pleasant state of the soul, senses and mind) are in a qualitative and quantitative balanced state.

The massages and cares I offer allow to re-establish the individual balance and help to keep an recover a good health.
